Market Structure Shift (MSS)

Definition

A decisive change in the pattern of higher highs and higher lows (or lower lows and lower highs), indicating a potential trend reversal. Similar to CHoCH but often used to describe a more aggressive shift.

Example

The market structure shift from bearish to bullish occurred when price broke above the last lower high with strong momentum.
