Breaker Block

Definition

A failed order block that gets broken through, becoming a new area of support or resistance. When an order block fails, institutional traders use it as a breaker to re-enter in the new direction.

Example

The previous bullish order block was broken to the downside, turning into a bearish breaker block that acted as resistance on the retest.
