Mitigation Block

Definition

A price zone where institutional traders go to mitigate or close their losing positions. Unlike order blocks, mitigation blocks represent areas where smart money is exiting trades rather than entering.

Example

Price rallied back to the mitigation block at 1.0900 where institutions closed their underwater short positions before continuing lower.
