SMC Entry Models
Combining all SMC concepts into complete trading models for consistent entries.
The Standard SMC Entry

Components
- HTF bias (trend direction)
- POI (Point of Interest)
- LTF confirmation
- Entry trigger
Process
- Identify HTF structure
- Mark HTF POI (OB/FVG)
- Wait for price to reach POI
- Drop to LTF for entry
- Look for CHOCH/BOS
- Enter on LTF OB/FVG
Model 1: Liquidity Sweep Entry
Setup
- Mark HTF liquidity (equal highs/lows)
- Wait for liquidity sweep
- Look for reversal structure
- Enter on OB/FVG retest
Example (Long)
- Price sweeps below equal lows
- Creates bullish CHOCH on LTF
- Retraces to bullish OB
- Enter long, stop below sweep
Model 2: Order Block Entry
Setup
- Identify HTF order block
- Wait for price to return
- Look for LTF confirmation
- Enter within the OB
Confirmation Triggers
- LTF CHOCH
- LTF FVG formation
- Engulfing candle
- Pin bar rejection
Model 3: FVG Entry
Setup
- Identify trend with BOS
- Mark FVG after impulse
- Wait for 50-100% fill
- Enter with structure
Entry Refinement
- Use LTF for timing
- Look for OB within FVG
- Enter at CE (50%)
Model 4: Premium/Discount
Concept
- Draw fib from swing low to high
- 50% = equilibrium
- Above 50% = premium (sell zone)
- Below 50% = discount (buy zone)
Application
- Only buy in discount
- Only sell in premium
- Combine with POIs
Risk Management in SMC
Stop Placement
- Below/above the POI
- Beyond liquidity grab
- Account for spread
Position Sizing
- 1-2% risk per trade
- Calculate based on stop distance
- Never move stop to add risk
Take Profit Targets
- Next liquidity pool
- Opposite order block
- HTF swing point
